"1-2-3-time out!"

I just have to make a quick post so I don't forget some of the precious things that have been happening here in Mexico - sorry no pics to post yet - later! The hotel, pools, view, food here is amazing - the kids LOVE playing on the beach, in the pools, waves, waterslides, lazy river, etc. Yesterday after we came up to the room all sandy and sweaty I told Libby it was time to change - she looked at me in horror - "But I'm happy being Libby!" Cadie gave Libby a time out yesterday, too - counted to 3 and everything - it was so cute that she thinks she has that authority! The kids have been soooo good, too - libby calls caterpillars "calaputers" and cadie called a waterfountain "water fa-mountain" CRAZY fancy hotel with tons to do - tomorrow we swim with dolphins, the next I go on a crazy jungle adventure complete with ATV's canopy zip lines, mountain climbing and rapelling, horseback riding, etc. Should be fun!!

Easter Dresses

Well, it has been eventful - what with Libby running away at Ikea (found her on a whole different level) getting ready
for our trip to Mexico, and general everyday mayhem.

Thank goodness for the kindness and generosity we see all around us. The girls got new homemade Easter dresses from grandma - aren't they adorable?

We were also able to go to the park - it was actually a lot warmer than it looked - before we got all this new snow. Here's all 3 little ones enjoying the outing with Uncle Aaron, Aunty Skye, Stratton and Ayla.

Welcome to Geekdom

Psshhh. Stuck upstairs because geek is having a LAN. That means there are other geeks invading my house. Playing geek games. Saying geek things. Thank goodness I have a good friend to save me from the excessive geekiness during the day and super fun family to temper the geekiness last night!

"I a Fireman!"

Well, told ya it wouldn't take long for my kids to do something outrageous! It was actually a fairly uneventful day until the kids got in the tub - Libby decided to take out ALL of the bath toys from the cupboard and dump them on Cadie. Instead of playing with any of the thousands of toys, she decides she like the bucket the best. The BUCKET that is currently on her head as she is sleeping. She immediately placed the red bucket on her head and proudly announced "I a Fireman!" She didn't take it off the rest of the night. We didn't have any other incidents other than Libby stating "I'm Claire" (who's Claire?) and dancing wildly around the room until she tripped over her own feet and ended up sprawled all over the floor.

All right. I've been cajoled and bribed and bullied into starting a blog. No, I do see the merit - I'm already way behind in scrapbooking and even taking pictures of my family and I do see this as a form of journalling. Hopefully I will be able to keep a record of these precious years since I will not be able to remember them due to the lack of sleep and sanity. I have the funniest and cutest kids in the whole world and I can't wait to share with you all the zany things they do and say - seriously, my life is hilarious, we have some EVENT nearly everyday. Liberty is forever saying things that crack me up and she's clumsy to boot - if she doesn't say something wacky, she's sure to lighten the mood by walking into the wall or falling off her chair (the latter happens at most meals). Thanks, Chelsea, for helping me get started!
