I feel like the worst mom in the world today! Poor sweet Libby gets severely accident prone when she is tired. Like falling down the basement stairs, falling off the couch, falling off the bathroom counter, falling off her chair- kind of accident prone. And then there's David. Poor guy, I felt like I was going from one "Fire" to another today, saving my kids lives left right and centre, only to find David in the bathroom... playing in the toilet and trying to drink my hairspray. I need a vacation!! :)
Happy Halloween!

please dont take this the wrong way but im so happy to hear this!!! Im glad its not just my kids that seem to have caught the "terror" bug! This week is proving to be an incredible challenge! Hope things start looking up for you.
ReplyDeleteThe pics made me smile, Julie!!! I remember my older kids doing stuff like that. I once had to call the poison control center twice in one day. The second time I called, I gave them a fake name cause I was worried that they would send Social Services to my house.....ugh, those were the days!!! Keep smiling.....a little hairspray never hurt anyone, I think!!! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, those days are rough! I know where you could go on vacation...hint hint
ReplyDeleteLOL, I've totally called the poison control center twice in one day, too! (LIbby learned how to take the childproof caps off medicine containers when she was 2) Oh and COMET. And Harely, we would LOVE to come visit - but how could we come without the kidlets!? Our kids would have so much fun together!
ReplyDeleteI know where you are coming from! Jensen is doing the same thing. Whats with kids obession about the toilet?? So gross. I hope you have some better days coming up!
ReplyDeleteAhhh, it's so hard to keep up with the little ones. They only give us the time to follow them don't they? But it's a good thing we save their lives for the very sweet moments they bring. You are a fabulous mom Julie, so patient and kind. Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteI saw little clips that keep your toilet lid shut when I was at Superstore today. I guess the only thing then would be making the toilet accesable to Libby and Cadie...:-) I love those kids of yours!
