I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family with awesome kids and a good husband. We were able to take David in to see a speech pathologist a few weeks ago and he was coded as having a severe phonology delay and will need help learning how to form certain sounds over the next few years so I'm really looking forward to this summer of relaxing before a busy year starts up again!

Seriously can't wait for summer to officially begin. I've had Libby in Kindergarten for 2 years now and feel like we haven't been able to do much - half of the day is spent driving back and forth and then we only have a few hours before piano lessons start. This summer is going to be great! We're already been enjoying the freedom of not having joy school and piano lessons to break up our days. We finally have a trampoline I've been wanting for years - and we are seriously on it every day - rain or shine - and have invented so many fun games out there. For those of you with tramps, you totally have to play these - so much fun! We play "poison ball" I put my big blue exercise ball on the tramp - it is almost as big as cadie! If the ball touches you you have to freeze and then you can unfreeze if it touches you again - or if we have enough people someone is the nurse who makes the frozen people better. Often frozen people get vicious and start hucking the ball at people... We also play "grunt" where one person closes their eyes and tries to catch the others by sound - like marco polo. Good thing we have a net! Speaking of nets we also play "soccer.pinball" where we each have a goal in a portion of the net! We've had friends over to play a lot - this particular instance Libby had the grand idea to take every single pillow and blanket off her bed and jump in the pile. This wasn't good enough, so she added every single item of clothing she owns to make the pile bigger.

Still wanting to increase the thrill, she then had her friends take off the clothing they were wearing to add to the pile... Good times. She didn't have as much fun cleaning it up!! :)
