So we were lucky enough to go to calaway park today - the weather was awesome and the day was even better. The highlight of the trip for me was watching Libby (who hates getting splashed) go down the log ride... and love it! But even better than the fun family day was something that happened this morning. Corey usually gets up for the day around 5-5:30 depending on if he goes for a morning run. Even though the kids are often up at 6, the don't usually see Corey in the mornings. This morning Libby goes down and sees Corey and says "daddy! What are you doing here?" He explains that he doesn't have to go to work on weekends and she tells him that she wishes he never had to go to work at all. He replies with "I go to work to make money to buy you clothes and food and stuff." She responds with a classy "Daddy - (sigh) I will be naked and not even wear any clothes so you don't have to go to work anymore." (dead serious, too!) I love my kids!
That is SO cute!! Awe Libby. Looks like you guys had a great time! Wish we were there with you!!!
